Back to Work

Yesterday I started teaching again. I am in a year round school and have been off track since before Christmas. It has been a really long break. I was ready to go back about a week and a half ago. Now I am so used to being home, I am having a hard time getting up to go to work.   My class is pretty good this year. I teach first grade. I love teaching the younger kids. I have 23 in my class this year. Not really a bad size. Last year I had 27 so 5 less kids is a lot less noise. Teaching reading is really fun and something that they all want at this age so they are still pretty motivated. Also they still think I am really cool so that helps as well. They all came back yesterday and had about 500 things they had to tell me since they last saw me. They are all still pretty cute and fun to be around.   I think I will end up writing a lot about my class. It is my life and I am there everyday. I even dream about my kids and school. It is kinda sad sometimes but it comes with the job.

Well this is the first post. I have never been a blogger before. This is all thanks to Amanda who put the idea in my head. We will see how good I am at posting. There are no guarantees that this will be interesting or up to date but I will do my best.
